The first 10 days of November I was traveling through Hungary. Most tourist sites about this country will talk about its capital city Budapest and the big Balaton lake. Of course I have also visited Budapest. It’s a beautiful city and the thermal baths are great when you need to warm up. However, I did not went to Balaton lake. Instead, I went to the opposite side of Hungary where a smaller lake and the biggest grass fields of Eastern Europe can be found. I’m talking about Lake Tisza and Hortobágy National Park.
To all the people who told me not to go there in November. You were wrong.
